Miranda Kliment, DNP, APRN, FNP

Dr. Miranda Kliment is the Region 7 Director of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP).

Dr. Kliment is a dedicated and accomplished family nurse practitioner (FNP) and assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. With over 15 years of experience in primary care, she is deeply committed to advancing nursing practice through education, clinical leadership and community service.

Dr. Kliment completed her Master of Science in nursing (2010) and doctor of nursing practice (2016) from Creighton University. She has served in various academic and clinical roles, including her current position as FNP at Hart and Arndt Family Health in Lincoln, NE. Her contributions to the field include significant involvement in grant-funded projects focused on nurse practitioner education and primary care. Her scholarly work includes presentations at state and regional conferences, and she is engaged in ongoing research aimed at improving clinical outcomes and health care delivery. Dr. Kliment is dedicated to teaching, mentoring students and promoting health policy initiatives at the state and national levels.

Dr. Kliment previously served as the Nebraska AANP State Liaison. She has also been an active member of the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners Legislative Committee, focused on health care policy and advocacy.
