Now Closed — 2026 AANP Scholarship Program
To become an NP, you need advanced clinical training and education. AANP scholarships are available to members who are currently enrolled in an accredited graduate school in pursuit of an advanced degree. Applicants must be a licensed registered nurse, have at least one semester of classes completed and be scheduled to complete an eligible NP program between fall (August) 2026 and summer (July) 2027. Awardees may receive $2,500.00 US Dollars to $5,000.00 U.S. dollars in scholarship funding. Only completed applications through our online system will be accepted and reviewed.

Applications closed on March 18, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT).
All applicants will be notified once the scholarship recipients have been determined. If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be required to complete and sign an agreement.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Attend a U.S.-based institution (university or college).
- Not be a member of the AANP Board of Directors or a relative of a current AANP board member or state liaison.
- Not be an AANP staff member or related to an AANP staff member.
- Not be a previous AANP scholarship recipient.
- Be enrolled in an accredited graduate school and program.
- Have at least one semester of your current program completed.
- Complete your program with the result of a master's degree or doctoral degree in nursing or a related field.
- Complete your program between fall (August) 2026 and summer (July) 2027.
Eligible Disciplines
Applicants should be enrolled in one of these academic disciplines:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner Track).
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (Post-master’s or BSN to DNP).
- Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing or Related Field.
Supporting Documents
To apply, please provide these additional documents with your application:
- NP program of study.
- Official, certified transcript of your current program which matches the program of study, including courses that are in progress.
- Verification of school and program accreditation.
- Two current, professional references on letterhead.
- Current CV or résumé.
