In late June, nurse practitioners (NPs) of all specialties will gather in sunny Las Vegas for the 2026 AANP National Conference. This year, attendees can choose from more than 330 in-person sessions and workshops, and gain access to the on-demand conference package, available July 7–Aug. 11.
Whether you want to soak in the bright lights, shows and excitement of Las Vegas while networking and learning alongside fellow NPs — or prefer the flexibility of earning continuing education (CE) from anywhere, at any time — the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) has designed a national conference with your needs in mind. Read on to learn more about the 2026 AANP National Conference, including details about the venue; keynote and closing speakers; and so much more.
Each year, the AANP National Conference introduces a new theme, dynamic speakers and location-specific experiences to ensure an unforgettable event. The 2026 conference will feature poster presentations highlighting the latest evidence in the field; industry-supported and sponsored events; and the always-popular Exhibit Hall.
In 2026, the Exhibit Hall will once again showcase booths from leading health care and health technology companies and welcome back the AANP Partner Pavilion. In this dedicated space, attendees can explore products and services available exclusively to AANP members. The Exhibit Hall is also home to the AANP Plaza and the AANP Career Fair, where NPs can connect directly with employers from across the country.
AANP is thrilled to announce that this year’s opening keynote speaker is Victoria Labalme — Speaker Hall of Fame member, author, coach and consultant. With decades of experience in the performing arts, Labalme is the author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller Risk Forward. She is known worldwide for her powerful keynote performances and workshops and is preparing a special presentation designed to inspire and energize every AANP conference attendee.
The conference will conclude with a dynamic closing session from Dr. Wendy Wright, NP and entrepreneur. Widely recognized for her leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing the NP profession, Dr. Wright brings practical insight and inspiration that will leave attendees motivated and ready to take the next step in their professional journeys.
Both the 2026 AANP National Conference and AANP’s official housing block will be hosted at The Venetian Resort, reducing commute times and giving attendees more opportunities to relax, network and fully engage in educational sessions.
What do NPs say about attending an AANP conference? Bessie Burk, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, FAANP, recalls that at her first AANP conference, she “met so many amazing people from across the country who had the same story I did. We went into nursing. We took care of our kids. We went back to school because we saw the need in our communities […] it was very heartening to know I was on the right path.”
When asked why she believes NPs should attend an AANP conference, Tracy Higgs, DNP, MBA, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHN-BC, CARN-AP, FIAAN, FAANP, FAAN, says, “I think it is your obligation. It is my obligation. It is a time to network. It’s a time to learn new things. It’s a time to elevate yourself.” She adds, “I could go on and on, but I need to see you there.”
Finally, Mary Fisher, DSN, APRN, JD, remembers that it was at an AANP conference where she was first able, “to see how, as an NP, I could have a group of colleagues, mentors and an organization that would allow me to get involved at the grassroots level … it was inspiring.”
